I don’t know if this is everybody’s process, but now that I am done with the fair draft of The Steel Ghost I’ve locked myself in a hotel room and I’m going to start reading it out loud and making sure it doesn’t sound stupid.
I’ll leave when I’m done.
It’s not a particularly nice hotel, but I think that’s probably good. It is however clean and devoid of insects and other things that might infest my luggage. It’s near some very nice restaurants so I’m not going to starve and if the strain of reading gets to be too much on my poor muscles, there is a hot tub downstairs that I can jump in.
There also appears to be a charlatan convention happening downstairs. I’m not specifically sure what type of snake oil, but I imagine that this place is going to be crowded, so maybe I’ll just stay in the room.
